The Via Fluvia crosses no less than three departments: the Haute-Loire over 63 km, the Loire over 3 km and the Ardèche over almost 10 km. In Haute-Loire two sections stand out. The first, 22 km between Lavoûte-sur-Loire and Yssingeaux, mostly on a secure and equipped cycle route, is to be shared with motorized vehicles. Then between Yssingeaux and Riotord, a greenway of nearly 40 km, entirely reserved for pedestrians, cyclists, rollerbladers, scooters and other strollers is particularly suitable for family activities. Discovery.

Family sporting holidays to the rhythm of the Via Fluvia

By bike, on foot, on a scooter... it's impossible to get bored on the Via Fluvia!

In Haute-Loire, La Via Fluvia is nearly 65 km of playground, open to multiple outdoor activities. Cycling (electric or not), mountain biking, scooters, rollerblading on tarmacked parts, standing cyclos for those who don't like to do like everyone else, or simply on foot... There's a choice!

The Via Fluvia is a journey. A 360° experience in the middle of nature in the footsteps of an old railway line that cuts through the landscape. Alternating between greenway and cycle route, it exposes the heritage of the towns and villages it crosses to the eyes of cyclists and walkers who use it: Rosières and its Ravine of Corboeuf , Saint-Julien-du-Pinet, Yssingeaux and its land of juices, Grazac and its brand new himalayan gateway, Montfaucon-en-Velay and its barefoot trail , Raucoules and his Velay Express , Dunières and his Vélorail du Velay .

The wild Loire, the volcanoes of Velay, the sweetness of the juices... Each section has its share of surprises and landscapes. Between healing and adrenaline with the discovery of sometimes unusual activities... we go from one universe to another, we let ourselves be carried away, sometimes surprised...

A trompe l'oeil fresco created by Pierre Mallet (a Loire artist) on one of the entrances to the Sarcenas tunnel, now condemned.
