Farm. Opens Wednesday

The Velay express, steam train, Raucoules, Tence, Le Chambon/Lignon, St Agrève will make you discover in an original way and at the slow rhythm of the trains of yesteryear the Velay plateau, the Lignon gorges, and the Pays de Saint Agrève.

Between Ardèche and Haute Loire, the steam train will transport you through meadows and forests, will overlook the Lignon and will show you the vast expanses of the Plateau while seeing the legendary Mont Mézenc and Gerbier de Joncs.
Themed trains complement regular services: Egg Hunt Train, Wild West Train, Halloween Train, Santa Claus Train, etc.
Timetables, circulation days and prices can be consulted on the website www.velay-express.fr and in the local Tourist Offices.
Free bicycle transport by reservation on board the train.
Free museum at Raucoules station.

With its railway culminating at 1062 meters above sea level, the Velay-Express is the highest steam train in France.
It winds for 27 kilometers between Raucoules, Tence, Le Chambon-sur-Lignon and Saint-Agrève.
