17 km SW of Le Puy, 800 m west of St-Jean, on the banks of a small tributary of the Allier.
Leave the D589 (le Puy – Saugues) at the SW exit of Montbonnet, take the D34 to Saint-Jean-Lachalm. On the village square, take a narrow alley on the right, park after a cross. Direction of the Via ferrata.
On foot: follow a path which plunges towards the Allier gorges (10 minutes).
