The Himalayan footbridge of the Gorges du Lignon is an adventure for young and old alike. In addition to confronting the void, the crossing allows you to immerse yourself in the landscape and measure its majesty.
On the Saint-Maurice-de-Lignon side, in addition to access to the Passerelle des Gorges du Lignon, a belvedere awaits the most courageous. With an overhang of 7 meters above the gorges, the Belvédère du Lignon gives a magnificent view of the footbridge, but also of the river below. Looking into the distance, visitors are offered a panorama of the entire Gorges site and a very beautiful place to observe the landscape.

Location details
Access to the footbridge from Grazac: By car, arriving from Montfaucon, Yssingeaux or Tence, follow the RD105 towards Grazac. Arrived at the village, follow the direction "Passerelle" to the car parks. From the car park, take the access path following the dedicated signage. Allow about 30 minutes of walking with medium difficulty. The return is by the same route.
Access to the footbridge from Saint-Maurice-de-Lignon: By car, arriving from Lyon, Saint-Etienne, Le Puy en Velay or Yssingeaux, follow the RN88 towards Saint-Maurice-de-Lignon. Take exit 41 – Saint-Maurice-de-Lignon and continue to the village. Arriving in the village, follow the direction “Passerelle” until the car park. From the car park, take the access path towards the Park, following the dedicated signage. Allow around 45 minutes of walking with medium difficulty. The return takes the same route.
