The Departmental Mission for Tourism Development is positioned as a reference in terms of classification of furnished tourist accommodation in the Haute-Loire department. With more than 30 years of experience in the qualification of accommodation, it has a team of technicians authorized and trained in the new method of classification of furnished accommodation.

Furnished tourist accommodation is now part of the tourist accommodation to which tourists willingly turn for their stays.

Furnished tourist accommodation is “furnished villas, apartments or studios, for the exclusive use of the tenant, offered for rental to transient customers who do not take up residence there and who are staying there characterized by rental on a day, week or month” (article L. 324-1-1 of the tourism code).

The classification as furnished tourist accommodation allows you to benefit from certain fiscal advantages : flat-rate allowance of 71% on rental income under the micro-enterprise scheme (article 50-0 of the CGI), exemption from housing tax and property tax in rural revitalization zones (III of the article 1407 and article 1383 E bis of the general tax code)], agreement with the National Agency for Vacation Checks (www.ancv.com), simplification of the calculation of the tourist tax (actual tourist tax), …

Seasonal furnished accommodation is classified according to national standards for furnished accommodation.

The classification of furnished tourist accommodation, like the classification of other tourist accommodation, aims to indicate to the customer a level of comfort and service. It is also a marketing tool for the lessor.
