Why here do some stones have such a rounded shape and such a red hue? So many questions finding their answers in the geological and floral wealth of the Sucs de Breysse.
In the municipalities of Alleyrac, Présailles and Monastier-sur-Gazeille, the Grand Suc de Breysse is a Strombolian volcano. One of the two youngest volcanoes in the department with a vast incomplete but very well preserved crater. The Grand Suc could be only a few tens of thousands of years old.
