In the north-west of Haute-Loire, the Respirando d'Auzon resort offers a multitude of nature activities to do with the family or alone: tree climbing, hiking, swimming, fishing, mountain biking... But also trail running, on 5 varied circuits which adapt to all levels of running from beginners to the most experienced.

Who better placed than our Altiligerian trail ambassador, Karim Smadi, to decipher this labeled space? For him, the trail running trails in Auzon are a real find. Accustomed to those of Meygal, he never came to this side of the territory. We took advantage of his new but seasoned eye to present them. It's up to him to play!
La Station Respirando d'Auzon community offers 5 trail circuits of different levels of difficulty, from green (discovery) to red (confirmed) marked in purple. 2 courses are even equipped with reflective markup to be able to train at night with the headlamp for the most demanding. And one vertical circuit D+224m over 5 km, “La Montée du relais” allows intensive training uphill.
Whether through undergrowth and verdant forests, technical monotraces, scree, valleys, along refreshing streams or even on the sumptuous viewpoints of the surrounding nature, near orientation tables, it is impossible to bored as the panoramas are rich and eclectic over the small Respirando Station of Auzon community.
Trail routes which have the advantage of crossing several municipalities and therefore, of multiplying the discoveries: Auzon, but also Saint-Hilaire, Vézézoux, Azerat... In Auzon indeed, natural and heritage riches are intertwined

Especially thatAuzon, start of each racing circuit, is labeled Small city of character ! A medieval village where it is as good to run as to stroll to discover the heritage: the imposing Saint-Laurent collegiate church of Romanesque architecture of Languedoc influence, its cobbled streets, its castle or even its walkway... At each bend its share of shows.

While dad, mum, uncle or the brothers are putting on their trainers to swallow the kilometers of trail circuits, the rest of the little family can indeed take advantage of the many activities : tree climbing, swimming and giant zip lines in Champagnac-le-Vieux, hiking, mountain biking, archery, canoeing or even climbing in Lempdes-sur-Allagnon… All this little world has no shortage of possibilities for having fun.
