Description
This is the essential Trail station circuit. This more technical circuit allows you to evolve on the foothills of the Alambre before plunging into the national forest to recover before embarking on the ascent of Mont Mézenc, which is more technical but if the sun accompanies you, a great reward awaits you. at the top with a 360° panorama and in particular over the entire chain of the Alps. A small shaded path will then lead you to discover the Cirque des Boutières and its volcanic particularities.
Watch out for sometimes violent thunderstorms on the summits.
Nb: the village of Estables being at an altitude of 1350 m, snow is possible from December to March.
