Santiago de Compostela (GR65) from Puy-en-Velay, path of Stevenson (GR70), The Regordane (GR700), the GR3 along the Loir traile, “The tour of Volcanoes of Velay … in all, there are a dozen long hikes (GR® or GRP®) that criss-cross the aerial landscapes of Haute-Loire over more than 1500 km distance and beautiful elevation curves!

Le Puy en Velay, at the crossroads of 8 GR
What if we told you that all roads lead to Puy-en-Velay! And yes no less than 7GR intersect in this city. Great departure and classified by Unesco as the city at the start of the Santiago de Compostela path, it is also the departure for other more confidential paths such as the Regordane or even crossed by a loop such as the Saint Régis, the patron saint of the Lacemakers. There is even a path that joins our famous rock St Michel to the famous Mont Saint Michel, the aptly named GR300 “Le chemin de St Michel”

Just 2 or 3 days ahead of us! We then go on a loop that gives us a feeling of disconnection, a breath of fresh air, what it takes to recharge the batteries. Forward, march!

Difficult to make our pitchounes work? We have the solution! Low-altitude hikes, lasting a maximum of 2 hours. Interpretation trails that will satisfy the “Why” and “How” of our budding curious. They'll play Sherlock Holmes as they investigate orienteering routes with pinch clips and compasses. Caresses and tickles guaranteed when the animal becomes their hiking companion, astride a donkey or towed by the adorable Husky dogs.
