A couple hike the Chemin de Stevenson with a donkey in Haute-Loire, Auvergne

The famous Scottish writer RL STEVENSON instituted a journey during his search for the camisard soul which became eponymous 'Le Chemin de Stevenson'. Between Auvergne and Languedoc-Roussillon, this European cultural route connects the south of the Massif Central to the deep Cévennes via Mont Lozère.
At the end of the last century, RL Stevenson, a Scottish writer, undertook a solo hike starting from Monastier-sur-Gazeille with only a donkey for company. It will end in Saint Jean du Gard after a colorful journey, the details of which he recounted in a book “Voyage avec un âne à travers les Cévennes“.
