Bouchet lake
The Lac du Bouchet and its airs of Canada make it a dream fishing spot. From January to the end of August fishing is reserved for the general public, an annual fishing license and a daily supplement is necessary to catch Arctic grayling, rainbow trout and salmon which abound in these mountain lakes of Haute Loire. From September to the end of December it is a more sporty fishing that awaits the competitor accustomed to the practice of fishing
Malaguet Lake
Malaguet Lake is located on an exceptional site in lush greenery. Located at an altitude of 1025 meters on the plateau which extends from La Chaise-Dieu to Allègre, the lake stretches over an area of 22 hectares. A real nature reserve, there is for example a diversity of fish in the lake of Malaguet. : trout, carp, gudgeon, tench, bleak or minnows. This diversity of species as well as the calm and the beauty of the landscapes make this private lake a truly privileged little corner of nature for fishermen.
Lake Lavalette
Classified in the 2nd category and a large inland mountain lake, Lac de Lavalette is the spot for fishing for predators: pike, zander and perch. Open all year round, fish can be approached by boat or float-tube by reservation.
St Front Lake
At an altitude of 1250 m, it is the highest lake in Haute-Loire. Its banks are preserved in a raw state and you really feel this wild nature. Open from November 1 to 15, this private lake is home to around ten species: carp, black bass, tench, trout, zander…. And you can experiment with carp fishing at night with 14 specially equipped stations.

From March to November, no less than 35 public or private ponds are ready to welcome you to Haute-Loire in the heart of generous nature: the Moulin des Merles near Champclause, the Moulins du Bouchat pond at the foot of Lizieux particularly suitable for fly fishing, the Arc-en-Ciel pond in Vorey-sur-Arzon where salmon is king...
