Not far from Saint-Etienne, the national forest of Meygal offers 44 km of trails for cross-country skiing. Ideal for a breath of fresh air, a rejuvenating break. Immediately, we soak up the hushed silence of this majestic forest. Starting point for the slopes, the chalet de Raffy allows the rental of shoes, poles and skis. And after warming up your thighs and calves, it's good to warm up in front of the chalet's wood stove and take a well-deserved snack out of the bag.
