Do you like hiking but you don't dare to go alone or hesitate to leave your usual circuits? So contact me and I will make you discover new hikes, new landscapes, in the heart of the Mézenc Gerbier massif, but also further afield, in Haute-Loire, in Ardèche...
During the outing, I will tell you the history of this region, I will tell you about the local architecture, the cottages, the farms with heavy slate roofs, I will explain the geology of the region and how the volcanoes have allowed men to live on the high plateaus of Velay and Vivarais. You will also discover the flora of this beautiful region, daffodils and narcissus in May, orchids in June, gentians in July... you will observe butterflies and other insects in various and surprising shapes, and with a little luck, you may see some marmots, a fox, a deer! without forgetting the many birds of prey present on the massif: red kites, short-toed eagles, falcons...
I offer half-day and full-day hikes, but also stays for a weekend or several days. The level of the hikes offered is variable and adaptable.
