Eglise Notre Dame de l'Assomption

A visit is a must: the sculptures of Jean-Paul Six de Versilhac adorn the choir in harmony with the baptismal font and the confessional.
From 1870, the Catholics of the hamlet of Recharinges and its surroundings undertook the construction of a church in the building of an old barn. Recharinges was erected as a parish in 1877. The bell tower-porch, square in shape, in phonolite and trachyte rubble was built in 1895. The spire covered with slates is embellished at the four corners with pinnacles. Inside, the stained glass windows are the work of master glassmaker Charles Borie (1877-1951) from Le Puy-en-Velay.
