The Flageac fortified house is located at the exit of Brioude (direction Clermont-Ferrand), on the border of the departments of Haute-Loire and Puy-de-Dôme.

15 mins. by car from the A75 motorway, known as La Méridienne, is a 2 × 2 lane motorway linking Clermont-Ferrand to Béziers, an extension of the A71. The A75 is free.
