Chilhac, the perched city of the Gorges de l'Allier, made us want to explore it. And we didn't go there with the back of the spoon! We searched for gold with Thimothée, we observed and “measured” the river when we met Pierre and his Allieryspo, we excavated mammoth bones at the Museum of Paleontology and we meandered the alleys and discovered the basalt organs with the help of treasure hunts and digital tours. Phew! Fortunately, the beaches below the village reminded us to relax…
