Go up the Allier, a wild river, by the GR 470
Description
The Allier Sources and Gorges hike (GR 470) invites you to go up the Allier valley from Brioude to its sources, from Haute-Loire to Lozère. You will thus discover wild and varied landscapes, from the bottom of the valley to the plateaus of Gévaudan and Velay, when the path moves away from the river. This Great Hike, which runs along one of the last wild rivers in Europe, is 190 km long and can be covered in 11 days of walking.
