The route takes us from the rich meadows of the Mézenc plateau, where the herds graze (end gras du Mézenc), to the wide open spaces of the Devés plateau, country of the Puy green lentil, crossing the Loire Valley on a more open, and then a wilder and steeper part of the Haute-Vallée.
