At the crossroads of the plain of Limagne and the slopes of Livradois, Auzon deploys its medieval remains, including some historical monuments: a church, a castle and winding cobbled streets. Here is a small town between land and rocks.

Built on a rocky promontory, the village is overlooked by theRomanesque church of Saint Laurent of the twelfth century. The wall of the collegiate church houses an engraved funerary inscription dating from the Gallo-Roman era, medieval wall paintings and a Romanesque Christ. In the village, many marks still bear witness to past activity such as the remains of the fortified castle, the outer fortifications, the Porte de Brugelet, the towers, the narrow cobbled streets, etc.

A time when the village plunges back every summer, at the beginning of July, during its medieval festival all in costumes and festivities!
