Three-day star hike, in freedom, in the Mézenc massif, between Haute-Loire and Ardèche.

Ideally located between Haute-Loire and Ardèche, the Mézenc massif, the fourth highest peak of the Massif Central peaking at 1 meters, offers panoramic landscapes. Overlooking the Alps and Puys ranges, this stay invites you to explore a picturesque nature while combining hiking, intrigue around the wind... A unique trip that is truly captivating to experience.
Day 1 “The Tour du Mont Mézenc” (12.7 km – 3h30)
In the afternoon, departing from Les Estables, we offer you an ascent of the Mont Mézenc trails. From a possible detour to the summit of Mézenc (40 minutes), you will travel through numerous grandiose panoramic landscapes, the Croix de Peccata, the Boutières cirque, Mont Signon. In the meantime, you can even contemplate the mountains of Ardèche and the famous chain of the Alps. Dinner, overnight stay and breakfast in your accommodation
Day 2: “Trip to the Land of the Wind People”
Departing from Saint-Clément, you will set off for the day following in the footsteps of the audio-guided circuit “La Virée au Pays du peuple du Vent” between Haute-Loire and Ardèche. We are preparing a bucolic and poetic discovery of the Mézenc massif on picturesque and bumpy roads. 7 stops with rhythmic walks await you. Like being an explorer, this journey has improbable surprises in store for you. Possibility to visit the Ecole du Vent at the end of the afternoon (1h30). Free lunch at noon. Dinner, overnight stay and breakfast at your accommodation.
Day 3: “The Tour du Mont Signon” (3.5 km – 1 hour)
Departing from Chaudeyrolles, we invite you to follow in the footsteps of an ancient dome volcano, Mont Signon nestled at an altitude of 1 meters and discover its iconic Lauze quarry. After this route, don't miss the Narces de Chaudeyrolles in the heart of the old volcano offering a unique peat bog with an Irish feel. Free lunch. Take advantage of your afternoon to discover other free activities.
