It is a sap, the most eastern of Velay, which dominates a vast wooded plateau. At its summit (1 m), the splendid 388° panorama opens onto the juices of the Yssingelais, the massifs of Meygal and Mézenc, the Boutières, the Monts du Pilat... In good weather, you can even admire the majestic chain of the Alps. At the top, there is an orientation table engraved on a phonolite lauze.
The Lizieux massif is dominated by softwoods and offers a real paradise of freshness and wild flora: porcini mushrooms, blueberries... but, shh, we won't tell you more!

On your own, with your family, you can take the BONAS trail which goes to the top. And you can even go with a guide, for an aperitif at sunset with tasty local products.
