For several years, the Deanery contributes to making Brioude a center of culture. Located near the famous St. Julian's Basilica , the old medieval building rehabilitated into a center of contemporary art after major works, reveals to the public more grandiose exhibitions each year. Marc Chagall, Joan Miró, Nicolas de Staël or even Picasso!
Great masters of the XNUMXth century have recently succeeded one another there. Rare works, skilfully staged by Jean-Louis Prat, exceptional exhibition curator. A gourmet and musical break on the banks of the Allier. Or rather DES! Since the traditional picnic concerts in La Bageasse multiply. There is now one every Tuesday evening in the summer, in July and August.

Every two years, it transforms the Cité Saint-Julien into a huge free exhibition. Rhythmed with encounters with some forty local and international artists from all over the city, the Biennale offers moments of sharing, workshops and events for all ages to learn about the art of watercolor and its techniques.
