The Puy de lumière show explores the beauty of the architectural heritage of the city of Puy-en-Velay in the most beautiful way, dressing the old stones of the Ponote city in a thousand colors. Enough to make onlookers enjoy a magnificent show as soon as night falls, every summer evening.

Nine monuments sublimated by the Puy de Lumières

From July 1, the 7th season of the Puy de Lumières will sublimate with its colorful scenographies nine emblematic sites of the Ponote city: the Crozatier Museum, the theatre, the Town Hall, the Place du Plot, the cathedral, the chapel of Saint- Alexis in the courtyard of the Hôtel du département, the Saint-Michel d'Aiguilhe rock, but also the Brives-Charensac media library and the old bridge over the Loire. With a new scenography this year, that of the Saint-Alexis chapel, which gives pride of place to the Haute-Loire festivals.

Two hours of free show at nightfall

An already magnificent heritage by day that comes alive and comes to life as soon as night falls for 2 hours of free show to be enjoyed at will in one or more evenings. 2 hours of journey which traces the history of the City through various themes: the lens, its pages of history, the King of the bird, the festivals, the medieval architecture... All in a scenography of dazzling light . A unique show in France! Welcome to a waking dream in Le Puy-en-Velay!
